Parents of children in their last year at local primary schools will be asked during the Autumn Term to indicate which secondary schools they would like their children to attend in the following year. Parents are expected to apply online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/admissions. For further information please contact the school admissions department on 01926 414143.

Please note that the application process for on time admissions for Year 7 September 2025 is open from 1st September 2024 to the closing date of 31st October 2024.

Parents of children attending other schools should contact the Admissions Service, Saltisford Office Park, Ansell Way, Warwick CV34 4UL, for more information.

The Admission Limit for Year 7 in 2025/2026 is 150.

Our school adopts the oversubscription criteria as agreed by the school’s Governing Body.  If there are more requests for places than there are places available, children will be accepted in the following order of priority:

Children with a statement of special needs are admitted first and this will reduce the number of places available for other applicants

1. Children in the care of, or provided with accommodation by, a local authority and children who were looked after, but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a child arrangements order or special guardianship order);.

2 . Children living in the priority area who will have a sibling at the school at the time of admission;

3. Other children living inside the priority area;

4. Children living outside the priority area who will have a sibling at the school at the time of admission;

5. Other children living outside the priority area.

Our priority area includes the following Primary Schools: Shipston Primary School, Brailes C of E Primary School, Acorns Primary School, Quinton Primary School, Ilmington C of E Primary School and Newbold & Tredington C of E Primary School. Within each category, priority is given in order of straight line distance between the home and school.  The shortest distance has the highest priority.
