Our Year 7 students enjoyed a fantastic day out at Warwick Castle, linking to the student’s topic on medieval Britain. Students had a tour of the castle and gained knowledge on how the castle defended itself, and attacked during the war. Lots of historical knowledge was delivered by Mr Davies, who is a renowned castle expert!
Students had an opportunity to explore the Horrible Histories maze and go up to the top of castle towers- which was brave given the strong winds! Although we were not able to watch the trebuchet show due to the weather, students were able to see the it up close which is not normally allowed.
A fabulous day had by all, despite the April weather!
