On Friday 10th May, our Year 8 students spent the day at the Black Country Living Museum. And what an insightful day it was! From spending time down a mine, to playing with old fashioned toys and games in the street, it was a real throwback to how life used to be in Victorian times.

We are very sure that the hardest part of the day would have been the strictness of the classroom!  And the most enjoyable, the visit to the sweet shop!

A fabulous day out learning about 20th century history, understanding developments in social cultures and class divide.
